How to use a STUPA to bring you to enlightenment

Lama Zopa Rinpoche advises that the stupa should be placed in the kitchen, living room, or on a table. By simply looking at the stupa, there is empowering purification that brings you to enlightenment. The stupa purifies negative karma collected from the beginning of your life that are obstacles to temporary and ultimate happiness.

If you have pets, such as dogs and cats, you can also bring them around the stupa by holding them in your hands, so they are at the same level as the stupa.

When you go around the stupa, recite OM MANI PADME HUM or other mantras.

Buddha Prayer Flags attract good luck and remove obstacles & illness.

Buddha prayer flags are multi-colored flags stamped with mantras or images. The five elements and their correlated colors are metal (white), water (blue), wood (green), fire (red), and earth (yellow). When you hang prayer flags, they bless the elements that touch the mantras. For example, when the wind touches the mantras, animals and insects who feel this wind are purified of their negative karma and blessed to higher realms. When rain and water touch the flags, the prayer flags bless worms and other creatures on the ground and liberates them from the lower realms. Prayer flags should be hung on the following auspicious days: June 2, 4, 25, and July 2, 3, 4, 21, 26, and 31, 2020.

Ching Ming Festival (清明節)

The Ching Ming Festival, also known as the “Chinese Memorial Day” or the “Tomb-Sweeping Festival,” have been observed by the Chinese for over 2500 years. It will take place on April 4 this year and changes according to the Chinese Lunar calendar.

On this day, most Chinese families visit the tombs of their ancestors to clean the graveyard, pray to ancestors, and make ritual offerings. Depending on the religion of the observers, some pray to a higher deity to honor their ancestors, while others may pray directly to the ancestral spirits.

APRIL 2020 Flying Star Chart

The third month (Yang Metal Dragon month – April 4 – May 4, 2020) of the

Yang Metal Rat Year

 

North 2/3 – The Number 2 Illness Star will fly into the North sector, bringing illness energy to you.  You should place the Wu Luo or God of Longevity to control the illness energy.

 Northeast 9/1 – The lucky star Number 9 brings happiness and enhances the good luck of the annual Number 1 wealth star. You can hang the 9 Rank Badge plaque to attract the chance of career advancement this month, and hang the 6 rods metal wind chime to attract the fortune luck.

East 4/5 – The Five Yellow star has travelled to another sector, minimizing the evil energy in the East. The Number 4 wood star will bring good energy as well as relationship and education luck, which further decrease the presence of the Five Yellow star. It’ll be beneficial if you placed the Scholar on Dragon Carp for enhanced education luck, especially for your children, who will study at home due to the virus. Also, place a green plant at the East to bringing wisdom energy and also control the annual Five Yellow star. To enhance the relationship luck, display the Nine-Tailed White Love mirror which features the strengthening wish-granting mantra.

Southeast 5/6 – The harmful Five Yellow star flies into the Southeast sector, bringing negative energy, including bad health, obstacles, and bad money luck. You must control it by hanging the 6 Emperor coins amulet, and 6 rods metal wind chime to control it.  These two Feng Shui enhancements can attract the annual windfall luck and control the monthly evil star.

South 1/2 – Finally the lucky star brings wealth and promotion luck to the South of your house! You can display the Monkey God on Elephant for career advancement or Golden color Windhorse for bringing success luck. However, you must not have red colored carpet or doormat in this area; otherwise, you will boost the negative energy from the annual Number 2 illness star.

Southwest 3/4 – You should remove excess green plants in rooms located in the Southwest, as the monthly Quarrelsome star will bring hostile energy to you, especially the matriarch of the family or the female businessowners. It would be best if you displayed the Fire Dragon holding fireball to suppress this star.

Center 6/7 – The Number 6 monthly Windfall star will fly to the center of the house, and it will bring auspicious energy to the household. You should display the Double Humped Camel for wealth luck and the Great Increasing Jewel for wealth and success luck.

West 8/9 – The west room in the house is extremely auspicious this month with the presence of the monthly wealth star bringing the ultimate money luck to you. You should hang the Wealth Rat Windchime and the Dragon & Rat Prosperity “8” to capture the luck from this star.

Northwest 7/8 – The Number 7 Robbery Star will bring health issues related to your lungs and the respiratory system as well as theft, especially to the patriarch of your family. It will be better to invite the Medicine Buddha for better health luck and place the Blue Elephant & Rhino with Talisman Feathers and Anti-Robbery amulet for protection.

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to develop and it will be better for all of us staying home safely.  Your health and well-being are our priority.   The monthly evil Five Yellow Star in the East and the Number 2 Illness Star in the South joined together from March 5 to April 3, 2020. MARCH 2020 Flying Star Chart

The second month (Yin Earth Rabbit month – March 5 to April 3, 2020) of the

Yang Metal Rat Year

North 3/3 – The Number 3 Quarrelsome Star will bring quarrelsome and hostile energy to your family or office, you should place the red color carpet and the Fire Dragon Holding the Fireball at the Northside of the house to control the evil star. You make sure to remove windchime from this area; otherwise, you will disturb the Grand Duke Jupiter this year.

Northeast 1/1 – This is one of the lucky areas, and the Number 1 White Star will bring little money luck and career advancement to you. You can activate this affluent area to capture this luck by placing the Red Windhorse for Success luck or Monkey God on Elephant for promotion. It is the water star, and you can also set the water fountain for bringing wealth luck to you.

East 5/5 – The Five Yellow Star flies into the East sector, and this lousy star will bring lousy health, loss of love, bad wealth luck, and other obstacles to you.  This bad star also brings the negative impulse to the eldest son of the family and the Rabbit-born person. The Om Ah Hum Five Element Pagoda will exhaust the misfortune from this evil star, and the “Om Ah Hum” sacred syllables on the pagoda will give extra protection.

Southwest 4/4 – 2020 is the romance year, and the Number 4 Romance & Education star will fly into this room, you can place the Red Phoenix mirror and Green Dragon mirror in the bedroom for an excellent marriage.  A single person should put the Mandarin Ducks to attract new love.  For you to activate the Education luck, you must place the Scholar on Dragon Crap or hang the Wen Chun Wisdom Pagoda at the southwest area for bringing wisdom to you.

Center 7/7 – The Number 7 Robbery Star will bring violence, burglary, and robbery to you. This star also affects lousy health to the lung and respiratory system.  It would be best if you placed the Blue Rhino or Anti Burglary Plaque to control the bad energy from this evil star. You may consider placing the blue, black, or burgundy color carpet at the center of the house to exhaust the evil star.

West 9/9 – The Happiness Purple 9 Star flies into the west area of the house and will bring future prosperity luck to you, especially the Youngest daughter and Rooster Born person.  You can activate this auspicious star by placing the Bejeweled Flying Windhorse or hanging the Flying Horse 9 Rods Windchimes to attract the luck from Purple 9 star.

Northwest 8/8 – This is the most promising area in 2020 and will bring strong wealth luck to you, especially the Boar & Dog born person and the patriarch of the family. It would be best if you displayed the water fountain, Wealth Rat Windchime, and the Double Humper Camel to secure this wealth luck.
