Your Monthly Feng Shui Newsletter in September 2021

The Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as the Full Moon Festival, is held on the 15th day of the Lunar calendar’s eighth month; this year the festival falls on September 21, 2021. It brings families together to celebrate the harvest under a full moon, and it is the vital month to get married as full moon brings “completion energy” to the marriage.

It will be a good time for a single person to attract romance luck; display the Wedding Couple, Double Happiness image, and Mandarin Ducks in the southwest of your bedroom.

To celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival, Chinese will eat mooncake, a sweet pastry traditionally made from lotus seed puree/paste. Nowadays, you can find modern versions of the mooncake in the form of chocolate and ice cream.

SEPTEMBER 2021 Flying Star Chart

The eighth month (Yin Fire Rooster month – September 7 – October 7, 2021) of the Yin Metal Ox Year.

The first number is the monthly flying star, and the second number is the annual flying star. Use the chart to apply the following recommendations:

Northeast 1/9The Northeast area of the house will be lucky for career advancement, money luck and happiness from the auspicious stars. You should activate this room by hanging the Flying Horse 9 Rods Windchime or Nine Golden Dragons Plaque to capture all these good lucks.

South 2/1 The monthly illness star flies into the South area, bringing sickness to the household. You should display the Garuda Bird and remove the red color carpet to control the negative energy from this star.

Center 7/6 The misfortune star brings bad money luck to the center of the house and it will spread the unlucky energy to the entire house. You should decorate the area with the Red Pi Xie Wealth Carpet or Blue Rhinoceros to control the robbery energy as well as remove metal windchimes from this room.

Southwest 4/3 The monthly star will bring relationship and education luck to the Southwest, especially to the Matriarch of the family and female owner of the business. Southwest is also the relationship sector, so be sure to place the Mandarin Ducks with Peony to attract and maintain good marriage relationships. For better education luck for you or your children, display the Wisdom Kwan Kung Plaque or  Manjuhsri Gau Scholastic Success Amulet in the Southwest area; Manjushri is the Buddha of Wisdom.

Southeast 6/5The Southeast sector is the wealth sector of the home; with the support of the Number 6 Windfall star, you will receive indirect money luck, including commission, business income and tips to the household. You should place the Six Birds Auspicious Multiplier or hang the Six Emperor Coins Amulet to capture the luck from this star. The Six Coins Amulet also helps exhaust the bad energy from the annual Five Yellow Star.

North 3/2The North side of the house is one of bad areas this month. The combination of two bad stars flying into the North will bring argument, legal matters and illness to you.  It will help to control it by placing the Crane & Deer Longevity Carpet to exhaust the illness energy as well as displaying the Rose Quartz Apple or Pair of Red Apples to control the quarrelsome energy.

Northwest 8/7 The monthly Number 8 will attract money to the Northwest area, especially to the Patriarch of the family and business order. Activate it by putting the Kuan Kung Holding Ingot or Dragon Boat with Victory Banner to attract it. Please remove metal wind chimes from the Northwest sector; otherwise it will empower the negative energy from the annual Robbery star.

East 5/4This month the East side of the house is unlucky due to the Five Yellow Star, which brings misfortune and illness to you. You MUST control it by placing the 5 Element Pagoda or the Metal Bell with Six Emperor Coins to control it. The sound from the metal bell will control the bad star.

West 9/8 The combination of these two stars will attract the wealth luck to the West side of the house; it will be beneficial to spend more time in this area. You can capture the luck by putting the Pi Yao Wealth Carpet or Double Humped camel in the west room.
